About Telos
We are a small team building software for the place we are from. Telos is the first product.
Why we started
SMEs in Kabul keep millions of AFN of stock on Excel. When a senior employee leaves, supplier history walks out with them. When a customer asks what they bought last month, nobody can answer from the books. We built Telos because the existing options — Tally, Odoo, SAP B1 — are either too generic, too expensive, or assume infrastructure that does not exist here. Industry packs then adapt the same core to pharmacies, spare-parts shops, supermarkets, and general retail.
What we believe
- Software should match the operation, not the other way around.
- Calm interfaces beat clever interfaces.
- Localisation is not translation. It is calendar, currency, direction, and digit.
- Auditability is non-negotiable when money or stock moves.
Who builds it
Telos is built by a small senior team in Kabul, with one design-partner SME as our first user. We ship in public; the entire engineering plan and design system live in our docs.
