The English version is the canonical version of these legal documents. We provide translations as a convenience. Publish localized CMS pages (slugs privacy / terms) to replace this fallback.
Telos is built by Lazuli Software Co. ("we", "us"). This notice explains what data we collect when you use our public website and our desktop application, and what we do with it. It is written in plain language and we will keep it that way.
1. What we collect
Public website
When you visit telos.lazuli.af, our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested path, timestamp). These are retained for 30 days for security and are not used for advertising. We do not run third-party analytics.
Account
When you create an account, we collect your name, email, organisation, and a hashed password. We use this to authenticate you, deliver licence keys, and contact you about your account.
Desktop application
Standalone installations store all customer data locally in an encrypted database. Telos does not transmit operational data (inventory, sales, customers) to us unless you opt into encrypted backup or sync.
2. What we do not collect
- We do not sell or share contact details.
- We do not embed third-party analytics, ad pixels, or session-replay tools.
- We do not have access to operational data on standalone or LAN deployments.
3. Backups and sync (online plan)
On the online plan, encrypted backups and cross-device sync transmit data to our cloud infrastructure. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest with a customer-controlled key. We can restore from a backup but we cannot read its contents without your key.
4. Data residency
Online-plan data is stored in regional cloud infrastructure (UAE or Türkiye). On request, we can keep your account in a single jurisdiction.
5. Subprocessors
We use a small set of subprocessors for hosting, email delivery, and error reporting. The current list is published on request to privacy@telos.lazuli.af.
6. Your rights
You can request export or deletion of your account at any time by writing to privacy@telos.lazuli.af. We will reply within five business days.
